Enjoyed visit. There are several canoes nicely displayed and some historical notes, but I'd like to see more information such as length & weight of each canoe. I have the feeling it is still in process of being developed into a great museum. There is a $4 suggested entrance donation. This could be a deterrent for a family since one will probably only spend an hour. Bit it is a suggested donation & I think they probably would be happy to get a lesser donation from a family. We visited the workshop also, and there is some great restoration being done there. It is an unusual interesting place & I'd like to see it supported. Unfortunately the building is not winterized and will be closed after September for the winter.
